Accepting these terms
These terms apply when you use the Huntington Beach Sunrooms & Patios website, ask us for an estimate or hire us for work at your house. By using the site or our services, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
A signed contract for a specific job comes first. If anything in your contract differs from these terms, the contract controls for that job.
What we do
We're a sunroom contractor in Huntington Beach, CA. We design and build sunrooms, patio enclosures, screen rooms and patio covers for homes in Huntington Beach and the cities around it. You can read more about us on the About page or start on our home page.
Descriptions, photos and examples on this site show the kind of work we do. They aren't an offer for any particular job. What we build for you, and the materials we use, are set out in your written estimate and contract.
Estimates and pricing
Estimates are free and come with no obligation. We give them after we've seen your property, because the slab or deck, the attachment to your house, the size of the room, the glass and roof you choose, and any permit requirements all affect the price.
An estimate is our best figure from what we can see before work starts. Conditions we can't see until the job is open, such as damaged framing, a footing that needs work or changes the permit office asks for, can change the cost. We'll explain any change and get your written approval before doing extra work.
Prices on an estimate hold for the period written on it. After that, we may need to update them because material costs change.
Scheduling and cancellation
We set a start date with you once the contract is signed and any needed permits are in place. Weather, permit and inspection timing, material delivery and site conditions can move the schedule, and we'll tell you as soon as we know of a delay.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an estimate visit, please call or let us know through the Contact page as early as you can. Cancelling a signed job is governed by your contract and by any cancellation rights California law gives you. Materials ordered for your job and work already done may be charged as your contract states.
Payment
Your contract lists the total price, any deposit, the payment schedule and the payment methods we accept. Payments are due on the dates or project stages written there.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's made. Any late charges or collection costs apply only as your contract and California law allow.
Warranties and our satisfaction guarantee
Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something isn't right with work we did, call us and we'll come look at it. The details of what's covered, and for how long, are in your contract.
Products we install, such as windows, doors, roof panels and framing systems, carry their makers' own warranties. Those warranties come from the maker, not from us, and depend on the product being used and cared for as the maker says.
Apart from what's written in your contract and the makers' warranties, we make no other promises about our work or this website, to the extent California law allows. This site is provided as it is, and we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Limits on our liability
We're licensed and fully insured, and we stand behind the work in our contract. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of a room or other property, that come from using this website or from delays outside our control.
Our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job, unless California law requires otherwise. Nothing here limits any right you have that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Using this website
The text, photos and design on this site belong to Huntington Beach Sunrooms & Patios or are used with permission. You may view and share pages for your own use, but please don't copy them for commercial use without asking us.
Information on the site is general. It isn't building, engineering or legal advice for your property, and your estimate is where we answer questions about your house.
Resolving a disagreement
If you're unhappy with anything we've done, please call us at (657) 329-2001 or reach us through the Contact page first. Most problems get sorted out once we talk and come take a look.
If we can't settle it that way, either of us may take the matter to small claims court or to the state or federal courts serving Orange County, California, unless your contract sets out a different process.
Governing law
These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its rules on which state's law applies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page is the one that applies when you use the site, and changes don't affect a contract you've already signed.
Questions about these terms are welcome. Call (657) 329-2001 or send us a note through the Contact page.
