About our Huntington Beach sunroom company

Sunroom addition with a bubbling hot tub, skylights, ceiling fans, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a lawn.

How I got into building sunrooms

I framed new houses for builders for years before I switched to working on homes people already live in, and I started this business in Huntington Beach in 2013. New construction taught me to build square and plumb. Lived-in houses taught me that every back wall, slab and deck has its own history, and you want to know it before anybody sells you a room.

Most of our calls come from people who want to turn a patio, a deck or a tired old cover into a room they'll actually use. So the first thing I ask is what the room is for and whether you'll want to heat it, because that answer changes the glass, the walls and almost everything else we draw. Then I look at what the room will sit on. You can see the kinds of rooms we build from our home page.

What you can count on from us

  • I look at your slab or deck myself

Before we price anything, I come out and check whether your slab, deck or patio cover can carry the room you want, so if it needs work you hear it now, not after the walls are up. Our own crew does the building, and I'm still the one you call with questions until the final walk through.

  • Your estimate says what's in and what's out

Heating, cooling, insulation and permit work are where surprises usually turn up halfway through a job, so I write down what's included and what isn't. That way you can set our bid next to anyone else's and compare it line by line.

  • The tie into your house gets built right

Rooms leak and settle where they meet the house and where they sit on the base, usually because somebody rushed. We came up building new houses, so the framing, the joint with your wall and the drainage get the same care as the glass you'll be looking through.

Licenses and permits for your job

  • California contractor's license

Licensed and fully insured. Huntington Beach only lets a licensed contractor or the property owner pull a building permit, and contractors have to be ready to show workers' comp coverage unless they work alone, so when your room needs a permit, we pull it, set up the inspections and put that in the contract.

  • Huntington Beach business license

The city requires a business license from any business working inside its limits, including contractors based somewhere else who come in for a job. The city treats it as a tax, not a check on anyone's building skills, so the state contractor's license is the one that speaks to the work.

Serving Huntington Beach Since 2013

Serving Huntington Beach and nearby cities

Huntington Beach Sunrooms & Patios is based in Huntington Beach, California, and builds across the cities around it in Orange County, including Costa Mesa and Fountain Valley. Those are two of the 12 cities with their own page on this site, not the only places we work. Each city or county office runs its own permits, so before we price your job we check which one covers your address, and if your city isn't listed, ask us through our contact page.
